Why does the Nura Conference exist?
The Nura Conference was created in response to a growing need in our field: a space where clinicians, dietitians, medical providers, and helping professionals can come together to stay current, think critically, and deepen their work with eating disorders, body image concerns, and disordered eating. Eating disorder treatment doesn’t stand still and neither can we.
The Nura Conference is intentionally designed for beginner to advanced level professionals, so everyone leaves the conference with something meaningful and applicable.
A space for connection, collaboration, and community.
This conference is a space to network with other eating disorder professionals and those working in adjacent areas such as body image, trauma, neurodivergence, and mental health. It’s a place to ask questions, share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and build relationships that extend far beyond the conference itself.
We believe learning happens best in community and healing work is stronger when we don’t do it alone.
Cutting edge research paired with practical strategies.
When you leave the conference you will have research-based practical strategies that you can implement immediately in your work. This is not theory for theory’s sake. Every session is designed to support clinical competence, ethical practice, and compassionate, effective care.
We intentionally address the complexities of modern eating disorder treatment, including risk, co-morbidities, identity, systemic factors, and the realities clinicians face in the therapy room. Our goal is to help you feel more confident, informed, and resourced without losing sight of the humanity at the center of this work.
We're so glad you are here!
