Can You Earn CE Online? Virtual vs In-Person at a Hybrid Conference
Attending · 2026-02-24
Yes — you can earn the full continuing-education credit online at a hybrid conference. Here is how virtual and in-person attendance compare at Nura 2027, so you can choose the right one.
The short answer
At a true hybrid conference, virtual attendees earn the same continuing-education credit as in-person attendees. At Nura 2027 you can join every session live online and earn all 12 CE hours from anywhere — the registration price is identical to in-person. The difference is the experience, not the credit.
When virtual is the right call
Choose virtual if travel is hard to justify, your schedule is tight, or you want to attend from your office between clients. You get the live sessions, the digital program, and the same CE — without flights, a hotel, or two days away.
When in-person is worth it
Choose in person if the network is the point. Hallway conversations, the Book Fair and networking hour, and meeting the referral partners you have only emailed are things a screen cannot fully replace. In person also includes meals and the exhibit hall.
There is no wrong answer — both paths earn the credit. Pick the one that fits this year, and you can choose differently next year.
